Early Estimate of Motor Vehicle Traffic Fatalities for the First Half (January–June) of 2012

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has released a facts sheet that highlights the quarterly number and percentage change in traffic fatalities from 2006 until the first half of 2012. In addition, it highlights the fatality rate per 100 million miles of vehicle travel for the same time frame.
