SHRP2 Launches Effort to Extend Products to Colleges; Offers Financial Incentives

The SHRP2 program announced a new initiative called “Education Connection” that it said is “designed to introduce SHRP2’s proven innovations and technologies to the next generation of transportation professionals. The goal of this initiative is to encourage university and college professors to build SHRP2 Solutions directly into their lesson plans as an integral part of transportation curricula.”

The SHRP 2 web site says “FHWA anticipates awarding up to 10 cooperative agreements.” Full details are available at SHRP2 Education Connection.
