Bad Roads Cost $413 per Driver Annually

23% of the nation’s major metropolitan roads have pavements in poor condition, resulting costs to the average urban motorist of $413 annually in additional vehicle operating costs due to accelerated vehicle deterioration, additional maintenance needs and increased fuel consumption, according to a new report released today by TRIP.
