The SHRP2 Implementation Assistance Program is available to help state departments of transportation, metropolitan planning organizations, and other interested organizations deploy SHRP2 solutions. The official application process for Round 4 of the assistance program will begin May 30, 2014, and will close June 27, 2014.
Each of the 12 products in Round 4 of the assistance program were selected based on their potential to deliver more efficient, cost-effective programs to meet the complex challenges facing transportation today. Round 4 is the first round within the program where safety related products are at a point where assistance can be made available.
A list of the 12 products available for Round 4 funding is available on the Implementation Assistance Program website.
A series of 8 webinars, covering all 12 of the Round 4 products, is scheduled to begin in late April. The webinars are designed to introduce the products and provide information on the process for applying for implementation assistance.
