TRB’s National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) has released a request for proposals to summarize a law that prohibits the use, in tort litigation, of highway safety data created for purposes related to safety improvements on roads qualifying for federal safety improvement funding. In addition, the research should also explore the application of this law and the large body of interpretative decisions. Proposals are due May 9, 2015.
