Jack Basso, director of program finance and management for the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, joined other guests Monday on National Public Radio’s “Diane Rehm Show” to discuss the aging of America’s infrastructure and how it affects the nation’s economy and global competitiveness.
Monday’s program segment “Rebuilding America” featured House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman John Mica, R-Florida; Ed Rendell, former Pennsylvania governor and current co-chair of Building America’s Future; Basso; Tyler Duvall of McKinsey and Associates; and Maureen McAvey of the Urban Land Institute.
