Improved Corrosion-Resistant Steel for Highway Bridge Construction

The U.S. Federal Highway Administration has released a TechBrief that identifies types of steel that have lower potential cost than structural stainless steel ASTM A1010 and could be candidates for bridge construction in coastal areas and areas that use large quantities of deicing salt.
