TRB’s National Cooperative Highway Research Program has issued a request for proposals to develop guidance on barrier safety treatment alternatives near bridge ends with restricted rights of way in a format suitable for potential adoption and inclusion as an update to the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials Roadside Design Guide. Proposals are due January 28, 2014.
