New Hampshire DOT Commissioner Discusses State’s First Gas Tax Hike in 20 Years with Transportation TV

In a new Two-Minute State DOT Update video from Transportation TV, New Hampshire Department of Transportation Commissioner Chris Clement describes the monumental statewide effort behind passage of his state’s first gas tax increase in more than 20 years. The legislation, which won bipartisan support, will this summer raise New Hampshire’s gasoline tax by 4.2 cents per gallon. Clement tells Transportation TV how the tax increase won popular support and how the badly needed revenue will be invested.
