Synthesis of Geosynthetic Reinforced Soil (GRS) Design Topics

 

The U.S. Federal Highway Administration has released a report that synthesizes six topics related to geosynthetic reinforced soil (GRS) design: embedment length, pullout check, eccentricity, lateral pressures, the W-equation for GRS capacity and required reinforcement strength, and geosynthetic reduction factors.
