Time-Lapse Video of Keg Creek Bridge Replacement

TRB’s second Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP 2) has released a time-lapse video that shows accelerated bridge construction techniques being used by a local contractor with standard equipment to replace a three-span bridge on U.S. 6 over Keg Creek in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. This demonstration was part of a SHRP 2 Renewal focus area research project that created standard bridge designs that can be adapted to a large number of bridge projects.
