The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials joined with the Federal Highway Administration this week to announce that registration is now open for an upcoming webinar series focusing on AASHTO’s “Transportation Asset Management Guide: A Focus on Implementation.”
The nine-part webinar, which kicks off with the first installment on Wednesday, Jan. 23, will review the guide’s content and share experiences from practitioners in various subject areas. The Guide, released in 2011, provides guidance on the organizational, business, and technical issues that must be addressed to effectively align agency resource allocations with corporate strategic goals. Webinar organizers state the webinar is perfect for those that have not had the chance to read the book as well as people that have read the guide but could use a refresher course or further explanation.
The nine webinars for this series will take place on the fourth Wednesday of each month through September. All sessions are currently scheduled for 2 p.m. Eastern time and should last until roughly 3:30 p.m. The series is free for all participants.
