AASHTO Hosts Webinar on Transportation Curriculum Coordination Council

AASHTO Journal, 19 July 2013

The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials will host a webinar next Monday on the Transportation Curriculum Coordination Council (TC3) and its move from a federal pooled fund to an AASHTO Technical Services program.

TC3, which was established roughly a decade ago, aims to develop and maintain a quality training curriculum to enhance the competency of the nation’s transportation construction, maintenance, and materials technical workforce through a partnership of federal, state, and industry organizations to support the training of highway personnel. The program focuses on technical level skills and training, with more than 80 online training courses available, and now operates as an AASHTO technical services program.

The webinar, scheduled for Monday, July 22 from 11 a.m. to noon EDT, will focus on how participants can get involved in TC3 and benefit from the program. Webinar participants will also get a peek at what AASHTO plans for TC3 in the future.

Registration for the free webinar is available here. Additional information on TC3 is available at TCCC.gov.
