The SHRP2 Implementation Assistance Program is available to help state departments of transportation, metropolitan planning organizations, and other interested organizations deploy SHRP2 solutions. The official application process for Round 4 of the assistance program will close June 27, 2014.
Each of the 12 products in Round 4 of the assistance program were selected based on their potential to deliver more efficient, cost-effective programs to meet the complex challenges facing transportation today. For the first time, SHRP 2 Safety data will be available, as well as eight Renewal products that address pavements, structures, and project delivery; two Capacity products for enhanced economic and travel analysis; and a suite of tools in the Reliability area that will help transportation planners better predict delays and analyze strategies for reducing congestion.
Assistance is available at three participation levels: proof of concept, lead adopter, and user incentive.
A list of the 12 products available for Round 4 funding is available on the Implementation Assistance Program website.
